Dr Dzul Hadzwan Husaini

Dr. Dzul Hadzwan Husaini currently holds the position of senior lecturer in Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Economics) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). With over 10 years of experience, he has successfully coordinated courses on applied macroeconomics and quantitative analysis at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. His research focus lies in applied macroeconomics, energy economics and energy security, and he has a notable publication record in high-impact journals. Dr. Dzul’s articles predominantly explore the intersection of macroeconomics with the energy sector and sustainable development goals. Recognized for his outstanding research work, he has received multiple awards. Additionally, Dr. Dzul serves as a reviewer for prestigious journals such as Energy (Q1), Resources Policy (Q1), Economic Analysis and Policy (Q1), and Chemosphere (Q1).
